At Ancestry by Heir Line, we offer personalised family history gift certificates, which make original presents for your loved ones, and are ideal for any occasion. 

As the certificates are completely unique to you, they are available to purchase in any value, depending on your budget.  They can be redeemed against any one of our five research packages or hourly research into the recipient’s family tree.  Alternatively, the vouchers can be put towards a Family History Report or Storybook, if your chosen recipient has already researched their family history.

Your personalised certificate will be sent by post in a beautiful golden envelope, ready to present to the recipient in any way you choose.  Please note that designs may vary.

If you wish to purchase a family tree for a loved one, but would like to keep it a surprise, then an ancestry gift voucher is the perfect solution. 

Before our professional family historians begin the research, we may need to ask some personal questions about the recipient’s family tree, such as the names of their grandparents, or where they were born, etc.  This would, inevitably, ruin the surprise, so presenting your loved one with a beautiful gift certificate, rather than a fully researched family tree, gives them the freedom to contact Ancestry by Heir Line when they are ready to begin their journey, and doesn’t spoil the surprise! 

If your decision to gift a family tree is made at the last minute, then you don’t need to worry - you haven’t left it too late.  Simply order a gift certificate and let your loved one get in touch once they have received their gift.

Most people will probably have an old box full of black & white and sepia family photographs that have been passed down through the generations.

If you are looking for something spectacular to do with them, then send them to us!  We can enhance and restore old photographs that have been slightly damaged, and provide you with a brand new print (in any size) ready to frame.  We even painstakingly transform old black & white or sepia photographs into colour, as if by magic!

This old photograph restoration work is all carried out by Ancestry by Heir Line’s in-house designer, Caroline Rochford, who is an extremely creative person with a first class degree in Graphic Arts & Design, and a superb eye for detail.

You can post the original prints to us if you wish, but we highly recommend emailing (or posting on a CD) high quality scans instead - this way, you do not run the risk of losing or damaging any original photographs in the post, which cannot be replaced.  Most high street printing companies will be able to scan your photographs, if you do not have access to your own scanner.

Prices start from £35, but each project varies depending on your specific requirements.  We keep digital copies of your artwork on file, so should you require additional prints at a later date, just let us know.  These start at £5 depending on your required size.

At Ancestry by Heir Line, we offer a fantastic family history certificate & personalised mug gift set.  This comprises a certified copy of either the birth or marriage certificate of the recipient, (which can be framed and kept as a keepsake), and a personalised mug with the details from the certificate printed onto it.
